Nestled on the edge of the rolling green hills of the National Trust’s Rodborough Common, our ice cream parlour shop serves more than 100,000 happy customers per year, who come to enjoy the ice cream and breath taking views and is one of the busiest ice cream shops in the West Country.
Open every day of the year, come rain or shine our historic ice cream parlour and lovingly restored vintage ice cream vans serve up scoops of some of our favourite ice cream flavours each and every day, fresh from the adjoining factory, from Chocolate Fudge Brownie to Strawberries and Cream.
Currently undergoing extensive renovation and extension, our ice cream parlour was built by our founder Albert Winstone and his wife Dorris in the early 1920’s as a way to serve local walkers and golfers with much needed refreshment. The popularity of our parlour shop quickly grew and the shop has well and truly become a hub of the local community, regularly featuring in the press as one of the best ice cream parlours in the country. For those who can’t make it to our parlour shop to enjoy our freshly made West Country ice creams, we have a fleet of five ice cream vans serving the local area daily through the summer.
Inside our parlour shop you will find some of the best freshly brewed coffees made with locally roasted beans, Lahloo teas and a wide range of fresh ice creams to enjoy straight away or take home in one of our retail packs.
Our current shop opening times through the season are daily from 9:00am until 6:00pm seven days a week.
Further details of our parlour shop can be found via our Facebook page which details our current opening hours.
